I also stayed at Ninna Nanna in Florence and was really happy with it. They have a breakfast in the garden and lots of local friends coming and going. And it's so close to everything. Plus I like that it's small and not too many people to share the bathroom with or make noise at night. I had a good nights sleep every time. Rooms are comfortable and the bathrooms clean. Rita the owner is really nice.

Right near the train station, Santa Maria Novella. Although it says it is a 3 star hotel, it's really a 2 star. Friendly to backpackers, family and all. Breakfast is included and they have a special price of 70 euro until end of August, pretty good for a double or a triple...and a private bathroom! We enjoyed our stay. We stumbled up on them and recommend them...their internet access does not work so you cannot email them.

This hostel is definatly the worst place me and my friends have ever tried to stay in. It looks terrible and the people are the rudest people ever. To begin with the hostel lost our booking and said they had no room and wouldnt let us sleep on the floor inside and said that we would have 2 sleep in the park but that we could come for breakfast the following morning as we decided to book that night. After being robbed in the park we went back and they wouldnt let us eat... the guy laughed at the fact that we had slept rough and called us a bunch of gypsies. when we got angry, he swore at us and eventually kicked us out. I seriously think those people have problems. This is definately not a place to stay in it is seriously horrible. The people are the worst people i have ever met and i would not recommend it to anyone. WORST PLACE EVER!!!

Ninna Nanna B&B

Ninna Nanna B&B is located right in Florence's medieval historic centre and while it's a B&B it actually has really economic prices. There's a great breakfast and you actually live in the house with the friendly owner Rita and her son Federico so it's almost like having a home. They give you a key and you come and go when you like. One of the bonuses also is that there is a small garden out the back of the lounge area which is fun to relax in and meet other people. This is where they serve the breakfast. There is also a tv in each room and several bathrooms. There are only 3 or 4 rooms so I recommend you book as far ahead as possible.

I WAS IN CAPRI FOR A WEEK AND STAYED AT BUSSOLA DI HEREMS, STAFF WAS FRENDLY AND INCREDIBLE HELPFUL, AND THE ROOMS WERE PERFECT, WAS WELL WORTH IT AND I WOULD GLADLY GO BACK
